Critical Thinking:
Reading and Writing in a Diverse World

These were commissioned as Chapter Opener illustrations for one of three titles in the Academic Connections series by Wadsworth Publishing.

They came out a bit weird, but they're fun.

The author's input for the art consisted of various circled words -- such as facts, observations, and interpretations -- with zoomy lines to other circled words like reasonable conclusions.

Because this was to be a textbook for college students who needed help learning to understand what they read, I felt a less wordy approach to the illustrations might be more engaging.

After all, a college textbook calls for collage art, right?
