Step 2We begin by converting the image to grayscale, adjusting Levels in Photoshop so there's a nice range of values but no areas of solid black or white (which don't print well). Then we straighten the image and cut a mask (actually, I mean "draw a path" -- we don't really use rubylith anymore) to outline the computer, so we can get rid of the clutter in the background. You can see below that we were originally going to include the Syquest drive in the illustration, but later decided to omit it. JUMP TO STEP 3
